High School students invited to apply to participate in 2014 TWU Cybersecurity Summer Camp

DENTON — Students entering 9-12 grades in the fall are invited to apply to participate in Texas Woman’s University’s free Cybersecurity Summer Camp, which will take place on the TWU Denton campus July 14- 18, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

The camp is free to accepted participants, who must apply to register by June 1, 2014. Only 20 will participate, so those interested are encouraged to apply now. The camp will emphasize fun, hands-on learning of cybersecurity principles that are relevant and applicable to everyday life. Each day of camp will cover new topics and activities, building up to a final team competition simulating real cybersecurity situations faced by industry professionals.
