TWU Drama program chair Sharon Benge will direct the production, which tells the story of four women who are desperately trying to come to terms with their stations in life. Set in the mid-1930s in St. Louis, the play follows Dorthea, a Blanche Dubois-type character, as she waits for a very important phone call. When those around her try to prevent her from receiving disappointing news, hilarity and devastation follow.

The cast features Averie Bell, Bethany Dunn, Desiree Fultz and Taylor Reed. The set and lighting designs are by TWU drama professors Rhonda Gorman and Michael Stephens, respectively. TWU graduate students who are part of the design team include Marshall Warren, costumes; Stanton Brasher, sound; and Katlyn Snyder, props. Linsey Retcofsky is the stage manager.
