TWU students attend Golden Key International Summit

DENTON — Two students from the Texas Woman’s University chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society recently attended the 2010 Golden Key International Summit in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Misty McNabb of Lewisville, a junior nursing major, and Megan Alleman of Rowlett, a senior psychology major, represented TWU at the conference. Representatives from more than 300 Golden Key student chapters from the United States, South Africa and Australia attended the event, which was held July 15-17.

“Attending the summit was a wonderful opportunity for us to network and brainstorm with other students from around the world,” Ms. McNabb said. “We made great new friends and brought back exciting ideas to TWU.”

Established in 1977, the Golden Key International Honour Society has more than 1.8 million student and alumni members and more than 365 campus-based chapters worldwide.

Golden Key recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement and excellence among college and university students from all academic disciplines.
