TWU presents Cultural Connections Leadership Conference Nov. 4-5

DENTON — “Strengthening the Leader Within” is the focus of Texas Woman’s University’s Cultural Connections Leadership Conference Nov. 4 to 5.

Registration for the conference is $25 for the general public, $20 for TWU staff and faculty and $15 for TWU students. The registration deadline is Nov. 3, and on-site registration is $30 for the general public, $25 for TWU staff and faculty and $20 for TWU students. The conference features interactive workshops and three keynote speakers — Matt Glowacki, a motivational speaker who has accomplished many things despite being born without legs; Dr. Christie Brungardt and Dr. Curt Brungardt, who founded the 1100 Torches national campaign to honor their daughter who lost her life to domestic violence; and Marc Lamont Hill, one of America’s leading hip-hop generation intellectuals.
