TWU to host wheelchair basketball and soccer tournament

DENTON — Athletes (and those who want to be) are invited to participate in a Wheelchair Basketball and Soccer Tournament at Texas Woman’s University. The purpose of the event is to provide the opportunity for people with and without disabilities to interact in a sports setting, with a focus on wheelchair sports.
Registration is $30 per team, with a roster limit of five. Registration is due by Friday, Nov. 13. For more information, email twufallsportsblowout@gmail.com.
The event is open to the public, and is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23 in TWU’s Pioneer Hall gymnasium, located on Bell Avenue on TWU’s Denton campus. Admission is free. Concessions are not provided.
The Fall Sports Blowout is sponsored by the Adapted Physical Activity Club at TWU.
