its annual convention.
Dr. Stuart
was one of 100 female leaders from around the state honored
for their extraordinary accomplishments in their professions
and communities by the AAUW of Texas. Chancellor Stuart was
nominated for this award by the AAUW Denton branch.

for nominating me,” Chancellor Stuart said. “TWU

and I am proud of how TWU and the AAUW work together to encourage
young girls to attend college. ”
Every
other year, AAUW and TWU co-sponsor the Expanding Your Horizons

math and science careers to more than 400 middle school girls
in the DFW area.
With approximately
100,000 members, 1,000 branches, and 500 college/university
