TWU West Gallery to host exhibition, artist talks

DENTON —Two-dimensional artwork by faculty from colleges in the Dallas/Fort Worth area will be on display in “2 X 2,” an exhibition scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 26 through Friday, March 28 in the Texas Woman’s University West Gallery, located in the Fine Arts Building at Pioneer Circle and Oakland Avenue. An opening reception will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26 in the gallery. Both the reception and the exhibition are free and open to the public.
Regular gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call (940) 898-2530.
The exhibition features a diverse selection of work including paintings, drawings and prints. Exhibiting artists are Chong Chu, David Newman and Betsy Belcher, all of Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch; Bob Nunn and Chris Fulmer, both of North Lake College in Irving; and Steve Black, professor and fine arts chair at Grayson County College in Denison.
