TWU to waive application
fees, accept transfer applications during February community
college visits

DENTON
— Recruiters from Texas Woman’s University will
offer information about transferring to TWU, waive application
fees and accept transfer admission applications during TEAM
(Transfer Enrollment Admissions Meetings) visits to area community
colleges in February.
Prospective
transfer students will have the opportunity to learn more
about TWU and will receive information on admissions, financial
aid, housing, commuter information and more. TWU’s $30
application fee will be waived for students who turn in complete
admission packets — the Texas Common Application for
Transfer Admission and official transcripts from each college
or university attended — to TWU staff at the event.
All
community college TEAM visits are scheduled from 10 a.m. to
3 p.m.
Dallas
County Community College District
TWU admissions staff will visit the Brookhaven College campus
Feb. 5 in the south lobby; the Richland College campus Feb.
13 and 14 in El Paso Hall; and the El Centro College campus
Feb. 21 in the College Transition Center.
Collin
County Community College District
TWU staff will visit the Spring Creek campus Feb. 6 in the
Atrium and the Preston Ridge campus Feb. 15 in the Founders
Atrium.
Tarrant
County College District
TWU staff will visit the Northeast campus Feb. 7 and 8 in
the NTAB and the Northwest campus Feb. 12 outside the bookstore.
North
Central Texas College
TWU staff will visit the Corinth campus Feb. 19 and 20 in
room 176 and the Gainesville campus Feb. 26 in the Activity
Center.
