TWU hosts a week
of dancing with ‘Summer Dance Discovery’

DENTON —
Students ages 7 to 17 can explore space, rhythm, dynamics
and the energy of dance during Summer Dance Discovery June
11-15 at Texas Woman’s University.
Sessions are held
from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each class day in TWU’s Dance
Building, located on the northeast corner of Bell Avenue and
Administration Drive. A registration fee of $169 is due by
Friday, June 1. For more information, contact the TWU Office

Students will practice
ballet, creative dance, jazz, tap and world dance skills in
group dances. Students also will create their own dances to
be performed at a dance showcase on the afternoon of the last
day of classes. Instructors are Brandy Niccolai, a 2007 TWU
master of fine arts graduate who has taught dance throughout
the Denton area; and Marcy Yonkey, currently an MFA dance
scholarship student at TWU.
Texas Woman’s
University is an accredited institutional member of the National
Association of Schools of Dance.
