TWU offers medical,
mammography screenings Feb. 12

— Texas Woman’s University Student Health Services
will offer medical and mammography screenings Monday, Feb.
12 on the university’s Denton campus. The screenings
are open to the public.
Medical
screenings are scheduled from 8 to 11 a.m. in room 207 of
the TWU Student Union, located on the southwest corner of
Bell Avenue and Administration Drive. Costs are $55 for a
male profile (includes cholesterol, CMP, CBC and PSA) or a
female profile (includes cholesterol, CMP, CBC and thyroid
panel); $30 for a lipid panel (includes cholesterol, LDL,
HDL, VLDL and triglycerides); and $30 for a diabetes screening.

Mammography
screenings are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Methodist
Health System Mobile Mammography Unit will be in the visitors
parking lot, located north of the TWU Student Union. Appointments
may be made by calling the Methodist Health Connection at
1-800-727-6131. Insurance claims for all major providers will
be filed. For those without insurance, payment of $111 is
accepted at the time of service. Participants are asked to
bring their insurance card and physician’s name and
address to the exam.
