Duo Diplogenesis
concert at TWU to feature music from the Americas

DENTON —
Duo Diplogenesis, comprised of Carlo Pezzimenti and Aaron
Cotton, will present a classical guitar program of music from
the Americas at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8. The concert,
which is free and open to the public, will take place in the
Little Chapel-in-the-Woods on the Texas Woman’s University

Mr. Pezzimenti,
an adjunct assistant professor of music at TWU, and Mr. Cotton,
a noted guitarist and a graduate of TWU, will premiere “Contes
Normands,” an Impressionistic suite for two guitars,
by Brian Clément-Foreman of the United States. The
program also will feature works by Ernesto Garcia de León
of Mexico and Maximo Diego Pujol of Argentina, among others.
Duo Diplogenesis
was formed in 2005, and their self-titled CD was released
on the Mapleshade Record label in 2006. The duo will perform
in Barcelona, Spain in March.
