Article by TWU professor, doctoral candidate and recent alum published in national nursing research publication

DENTON — An article authored by Texas Woman’s University nursing professor Dr. Gail Davis, doctoral candidate Terri White and recent Ph.D. in nursing graduate Dr. Asphodel Yang was recently published in a national nursing research publication.

The article, “A bone health intervention for older adults living in residential settings,” was published in the December 2006 issue of Research in Nursing & Health journal. The article reported on research on bone health intervention aimed at assisting older adults living independently in residential settings to maintain healthy bones.

Research in Nursing & Health is a general, peer-reviewed, research journal devoted to publication of a wide range of research and theory that will inform the practice of nursing and other health disciplines.

With more than 13,000 alumni and more than 2,300 undergraduate and graduate students, TWU has the largest college of nursing in Texas and produces more new nurses than any other program in the state.
