Canadian Consul
to speak on TWU’s Denton campus

DENTON —
David F.J. Marshall, Consul of the Canadian Consulate in Dallas,
will address Canada’s political relationship with the
United States in a presentation Wednesday, March 7 at Texas
Woman’s University. The lecture, which is free and open
to the public, will take place at 2:30 p.m. in room 301 of
the Administration Conference Tower (ACT), located on Administration
Drive on TWU’s Denton campus. For a map of the campus,

A question-and-answer
session will follow the Consul’s lecture, in which he
will discuss Canadian-U.S. energy linkages, security of supply,
border issues and defense. Consul Marshall, the second-ranking
officer at the Canadian Consulate in Dallas, was invited by
Dr. Michiko Hayhurst, assistant professor of economics in
the TWU School of Management, to speak to her “Introduction
to International Business” class.
Consul Marshall
is responsible for the promotion of all Canadian interests
in political and economic relations, culture and academic
and public affairs in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and
Louisiana.
