TWU student to
present paper at Shanghai library forum

DENTON —
A paper written by Zhi Xian Yi, a doctoral student in library
science at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, has been
accepted for presentation at the third Shanghai International
Library Forum (SILF), scheduled Aug. 17-19 in Shanghai, China.
Mr. Yi, an international
student from China, will present his paper, titled “Knowledge
Management for Library Strategic Planning: Perceptions of
Applications and Benefits.”
The Shanghai International
Library Forum is an open conference for librarians from throughout
the world to share their expertise and exchange ideas. Papers
submitted were required to be original research contributions
or summaries of practical experience, and all were peer-reviewed
by the Professional Committee of SILF 2006.
