TWU’s Zephyr
Winds concert to follow art reception

DENTON —
Zephyr Winds, Texas Woman’s University’s faculty
woodwind quintet, will salute their visual arts colleagues
with Moussorgsky’s “Picture at an Exhibition”
during the group’s fall concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct.
3 in the Margo Jones Performance Hall.
The concert will
follow the opening reception for TWU’s Faculty Art Exhibition,
scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Art Building, located
on Pioneer Circle across from the performance hall on TWU’s
Denton campus. Admission to the concert and the reception

The concert also
will include arrangements of compositions by Percy Grainger
and J.S. Bach.
Zephyr Winds is
comprised of Dr. Pamela Youngblood on flute, Dr. James Hobbs
on oboe, Mr. Garry Evans on clarinet, Mr. Charles Hall on
bassoon and Mr. John McGuire on horn.
