TWU plans evening
of Trunk-or-Treating Oct. 26
10/13/06
DENTON —
Treats, train rides, carnival games and a haunted house will
be part of Texas Woman’s University’s Fall Festival,
scheduled from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 at the TWU
Student Union, located at Bell Avenue and Administration Drive.
Admission is free and open to the community. For more information,
call (940) 898-3641.
The festival, attended
by more than 800 children each year, includes trunk-or-treating
— TWU’s version of trick-or-treating. Cars, decorated
for the season, will line the horseshoe-shaped driveway between
TWU’s clock tower building and the Student Union, and
treats will be given away from their trunks.
“We hope
the Denton and TWU communities will bring their children,
neighbors and friends to the festival and join us for a night
of fun,” said Kyle Voyles, director of the TWU Student
Union.
