2/3/06
DENTON
– Texas Woman’s University faculty member Sherrie
Taylor recently was appointed to the Students in Free Enterprise
(SIFE) USA Faculty Advisory Committee. The 15 advisory committee
members represent more than 1,000 SIFE USA faculty advisers
from more than 800 colleges and universities in the United
States.
“I am honored
to receive this recognition from our national organization,”
said Taylor, a lecturer in TWU’s School of Management
and a TWU SIFE adviser. “I know that it is the strength
of our students and the quality of their work that has brought
this recognition to me and to TWU.”
TWU’s SIFE
team has competed at the regional SIFE competition in Dallas
for 10 years and has been the regional winner for four consecutive
years. The team also has competed at the SIFE USA National
Exposition competition for five out of the last six years.
