TWU OT students present annual Celebration of Scholarship

DENTON –
Texas Woman’s University master of occupational therapy
students will present their annual Celebration of Scholarship
event on March 31 at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium of TWU’s
Dallas Presbyterian campus, located at 8194 Walnut Hill Lane
just south of Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
Celebration of
Scholarship is a student-organized event showcasing the scholarly
work of the occupational therapy class. Dr. Marjorie Scaffa,
professor and chairperson of the Department of Occupational
Therapy at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala.,
will serve as the keynote speaker and will present “Nurturing
the Scholar Within.”
Dr. Scaffa founded
the University of South Alabama’s occupational therapy
program in 1993. Her area of scholarly work is the application
of occupational therapy to community settings.
