TWU to showcase 10 online degree programs during March 25
Open House at Houston campus

HOUSTON –
Texas Woman’s University will showcase 10 online degree
programs — including the new RN to Bachelor of Science
in Nursing degree — during an Open House from 8:30 a.m.
to noon Saturday, March 25 on the TWU Houston campus.
Prospective students
and their guests will have the opportunity to meet faculty
and students, participate in a campus tour and attend sessions
on admissions, financial aid, student life and more. Breakout
sessions on TWU’s 10 online degree programs also will
be offered at the event.
The open house
begins at 8:30 a.m. in the foyer of TWU’s Institute
of Health Sciences - Houston located in the Texas Medical
Center at 1130 John Freeman Blvd. Information sessions are
scheduled until noon and limited free on-campus parking is
available at lot F, located on Bertner Avenue at Moursund
Street. Paid parking also is available at the John P. McGovern
Texas Medical Center Commons (Garage 15), located just across
from TWU at the corner of Bertner Avenue and Moursund Street.

TWU offers the
following degrees primarily online: Bachelor of General Studies,
Bachelor of Science in Health Studies, Executive MBA, Master
of Arts in Teaching, Master of Science in Family Studies,
Master of Library Science, Master of Science in Health Studies,
a Post-Professional Master’s in Occupational Therapy
and a Professional Level Master’s in Occupational Therapy
to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and the new online
RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
“Our online
degree programs are designed to allow students to complete
a degree while maintaining their busy family and work schedules,”
said Teresa Mauk, TWU’s executive director of enrollment
management.
Students enrolled
in TWU’s online degree programs have the advantage of
attending an accredited public university with nationally
recognized programs and affordable tuition and fees. Classes
are open to men and women, and some degrees are offered 100
percent online.
