TWU Department
of Dance presents ‘KidsDance’

DENTON —
Second-graders in the Denton Independent School District will
be treated to demonstrations and discussions of dance as the
Texas Woman’s University Department of Dance presents
“KidsDance: Rhythms for Life” Nov. 14 and 15.
Sessions on both days will begin at noon in the Margo Jones
Performance Hall, located at Oakland and Sawyer streets on
TWU’s Denton campus. For more information, call (940)

KidsDance is a
partnership project of TWU, the Denton ISD and the Greater
Denton Arts Council. The KidsDance project is made possible
with the support of the GDAC, the Arts Guild of Denton, the
Texas Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for
the Arts. Mary Williford-Shade, TWU associate professor of
dance, will direct the presentation.
