Dance Center offers summer dance class for children

DENTON —
The Texas Woman’s University Community Dance Center
will offer Kid’s Summer Dance July 10-14 for children
ages 7 to 12. Classes are conducted from 1 to 5 p.m. each
day in the Dance Building, located on the northeast corner
of Bell Avenue and Administration Drive on TWU’s Denton
campus. Registration for the class is $175, and the deadline
to register is Friday, June 23. For more information, contact

Dancers will explore
space, rhythm, dynamics and energy of dance through ballet,
creative dance, jazz, tap and world dance. Skills will be
practiced in group dances as well as students creating their
own dances. The program will conclude Friday, July 14 with
a dance showcase for parents and friends.
