Public invited to free job fair on TWU campus on Thursday,
May 18

DENTON — Texas Woman’s University and the North
Texas Society for Human Resources Management (NTSHRM) will
host a free job fair on the TWU campus on Thursday, May 18.
The fair will be
held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Hubbard Hall, located at 303
Administration Drive on the TWU campus. Free parking on campus
will be available for the job fair.
“More than
40 employers from Denton and the surrounding area will be
attending,” said Joye Williams, NTSHRM President and
TWU manager of diversity and equal employment opportunity.
According to Glenn
Jensen, job fair chairperson, the public fair is now the largest
in Denton and is free to job seekers and employers.
“Last year
our job fair resulted in over 400 applicants coming out to
apply for jobs,” Lewis Benavides, TWU associate vice
president of human resources, said.
Attire is business
or business casual and job seekers are asked to bring multiple
copies of their resume. Details on participating employers
and a list of available positions can be found on the NTSHRM’s
website at www.NorthTexasSHRM.org.
