TWU’s Davis appointed to editorial board of national
rheumatology publication

Texas Woman’s University nursing professor Dr. Gail
Davis, B.S.N., M.Ed., Ed.D., recently accepted a two-year
appointment to the editorial board of the American College
of Rheumatology’s (ACR) new publication, “The
Rheumatologist.”
“I look forward
to working with my fellow editorial board members on this
informative news magazine that will bring ACR members the
latest information on research and best practices in rheumatology,”
Dr. Davis said.
According to the
ACR, “The Rheumatologist” will be a monthly magazine.
The first issue will be published in November.
The ACR is an organization
of and for physicians, health professionals and scientists
that advances rheumatology through programs of education,
research, advocacy and practice support that foster excellence
in the care of people with arthritis and rheumatic and musculoskeletal
