TWU’s Houston
campus welcomes prospective transfer and graduate students
to Feb. 4 open house

DENTON –
Texas Woman’s University will host an open house for
prospective transfer and graduate students on Saturday, Feb.
4, from 8 a.m. to noon at TWU’s Houston campus.
TWU’s Houston
open house is designed for upper-level nursing and health
studies students; graduate students in healthcare administration,
nursing, nutrition, library and information science, physical
therapy and occupational therapy; and those interested in
TWU’s Executive MBA program.
Prospective students
and their guests will have the opportunity to meet faculty
and students, participate in a campus tour and attend sessions
on admissions, financial aid, student life and more.
The open house
begins at 8 a.m. in the foyer of TWU’s Institute of
Health Sciences - Houston located in the Texas Medical Center
at 1130 John Freeman Blvd. Information sessions are scheduled
until noon and a free continental breakfast will be served.
Limited free on-campus parking is available at lot F located
on Bertner Avenue at Moursund Street. Paid parking also is
available at the John P. McGovern Texas Medical Center Commons
(Garage 15) located just across from TWU at the corner of
Bertner Avenue and Moursund Street.

More than 1,200
upper-level and graduate students majoring in nursing, physical
therapy, library science, healthcare administration, occupational
therapy, nutrition and business administration are enrolled
at TWU’s Institute for Health Sciences - Houston Center
in the Texas Medical Center. Construction is currently under
way for a new campus in the medical center to open in fall
2006 that will allow TWU to eventually to more than double
its Houston enrollment.
