Wellness Services to become TWU Fitness and Recreation in
fall 2005

DENTON —
Texas Woman’s University’s Wellness Services will
change its name to TWU Fitness and Recreation starting in
the fall 2005 semester.
“As TWU’s enrollment has grown, so has the usage
of the Wellness Center,” said center director John Cissik.
“Our new name reflects our role in fostering fitness
and recreational opportunities for TWU students, faculty and
staff.”
In addition to the new name, the program will also implement
changes that will affect the center’s hours, programs
and services, community membership policies and structures
and future decisions on equipment, services and programs.
