Public invited
to free job fair on TWU campus on Thursday, May 26

DENTON —
Texas Woman’s University and the North Texas Society
for Human Resources Management (NTSHRM) will host a free job
fair on the TWU campus on Thurs., May 26.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Hubbard Hall,
located at 303 Administration Drive on the TWU campus. Free
parking on campus will be available for the job fair.
“Most of
Denton County’s largest employers will be attending,”
said Joye Williams, job fair co-chair and TWU manager of recruitment
and selection. “These employers represent nearly 500
available local jobs that need to be filled.”
The fair, one of
the largest in Denton, is free to job seekers and employers,
Williams added.
“Last year
our job fair resulted in 550 applicants coming out to apply
for jobs,” Lewis Benavides, TWU associate vice president
of human resources, said.
Attire is business
or business casual and job seekers are asked to bring multiple
copies of their resume. Details on participating employers
and a list of available positions can be found on the NTSHRM’s
website at www.NorthTexasSHRM.org.
