Hubbard Hall
Student Health Services in Hubbard Hall

Once the university’s dining hall, this building now is a conference facility/reception hall. Open House events are held in this building. The hall’s Wildflower Room is home to the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame exhibit. The Governor’s Commission for Women started the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame in 1984 to honor the state’s most outstanding women.

Located in the southeast corner of the Hubbard Hall basement, the Student Health Service is dedicated to excellence in medical services for college students while they attend Texas Woman's University. Our Department of Public Safety also is located on the south side of Hubbard Hall. The department provides 24-hour, seven-day-a-week services to the university community. The commissioned members of the department have the full authority and responsibilities of peace officers as authorized by Texas law. TWU has one of the lowest rates of reported crime in the nation when compared to universities of similar size.
