Select the service you would like to use for more information: WIFI 1. From the Home screen, press the menu button or open the App Drawer, and select the Settings icon. 2. Under Settings, choose Wireless & networks. 3. Next, select Wi-Fi settings. 4. If Wi-Fi is not already turned on, tap the check mark by Wi-Fi to turn it on. When Wi-Fi is enabled, available network names (SSIDs) will appear below. Password protected (encrypted) networks will by indicated with a padlock icon. 5. Select the network to which you would like to connect. TWU's wireless network name is "TWUnet" You should now see that you are connected to the network. When using some public Wi-Fi networks, such as "TWUnet", your browser will display a web page that allows you to sign in to use the service. When using TWU's wireless service, you will sign in using your Pioneer Portal account credentials. Now you can browse the web on TWU's wireless network. Email Select the service you would like to use for more information: WIFI 1. Tap Settings > Wi-Fi. If Wi-Fi is off, turn it on by tapping the on/off icon. 2. Available Wi-Fi networks appear under "Choose a Network..." 3. Locate and tap the Wi-Fi network you want to join - TWU's wifi network is "twunet" 4. When using some public Wi-Fi networks, such as "TWUnet", your browser will display a web page that allows you to sign in to use the service. When using TWU's wireless service, you will sign in using your Pioneer Portal account credentials. Now you can browse the web on TWU's wireless network. Email Select the service you would like to use for more information: WIFI 1. On Start, flick left to the App list, and then tap Settings > Wi-Fi. 2. Make sure that Wi-Fi networking is set to On . This ensures that your phone is actively searching for available Wi-Fi networks. If a network is found, your phone will list it here and let you know whether it's an open or secured network. 3. Tap the network you want to connect to. Tips Depending on how your phone is set up by your phone manufacturer or mobile operator, you will be notified periodically when there are available Wi-Fi networks in your area. You can tap the notification to connect to the network, or to turn off notifications. If you don't want to be notified when a Wi-Fi network is available, return to Settings > Wi-Fi and clear the Notify me when new networks are found check box. When notifications are turned off, you can still check for Wi-Fi networks by returning to Settings > Wi-Fi. Some phones might not support Wi-Fi, so Wi-Fi network settings might not be visible. If you want to connect to a secured network, you might have to enter a user name and a password. If so, tap Done when you are finished. Some Wi-Fi networks, such as ones you might find at TWU, in coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, or elsewhere, may require you to enter a password in your web browser before you can connect. Once you are connected to "TWUnet", open your browser. You will be promped for a user name and password, you will use your Pioneer Portal credentials. To disconnect from a network, tap and hold it, and then tap Delete. Email
