Profile

Dr. Pemberton has been a general education classroom teacher, special education teacher, school principal, and a resource consultant in special education. She teaches classes for the undergraduate, Master’s and Doctoral Special Education programs. Before coming to TWU she taught classes for Eastern New Mexico University, College of Santa Fe at Albuquerque, Utah State University, and the University of North Texas.

Dr. Pemberton’s research interests include instructional strategies, curriculum based measurement, gender equity issues, distance education, and grandparents raising grandchildren with disabilities.
