Profile

Prior to joining Texas Woman’s University in August 2006, Dr. Dunlap served both as a lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education and Administration at the University of North Texas (UNT) and as a UNT Professional Development School (PDS) Site Coordinator directing over 70 aspiring student teachers.  Before joining colleagues in higher education, Dr. Dunlap served Texas public school students for over 25 years in a variety of teacher, administrative, and supervisory positions.

Dr. Dunlap’s scholarly interests include teacher preparation, student voice, portfolio development, organizational design, and leadership development. She is a member of Phi Delta Kappa, Delta Kappa Gamma, American Educational Research Association, and the Association of Teacher Educators.
