Profile

Gina Anderson arrived at Texas Woman’s University in the fall of 2004 after completing her doctorate degree.  Prior to TWU, Gina taught several years of elementary and middle school and served as a student teacher supervisor and teaching and research assistant at OSU.  She currently serves as program coordinator and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in curriculum, pedagogy, educational foundations, and diversity.  She continues to learn from her students, colleagues, and mentors and believes that the development of our adult students is crucial before they can be expected to meet the demands as a teacher or educator in PreK-12th grade educational settings; especially those exhibiting diversity.  Culturally-responsive teaching strategies and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning guide her research and scholarly interests.
