Upcoming Centennial Celebration Events!

February 17 in conjunction with the Rose Spicola Forum in Reading we will be honoring TWU alumni who are now teaching. Please attend the forum and stop by and see our Teacher Preparation Centennial Celebration Displays. The Forum starts at 9:00 a.m. in the MCL building on the Denton campus. http://www.twu.edu/cope/rd/spicola. February 24 we will be honoring TWU student-athletes who have gone on to be, or are planning to be, teachers. This is the last home game for the Basketball team and we will have our displays up in the lobby before, during, and after the game and at halftime we will have a ceremony recognizing and honoring TWU athletes/teacher education students, both past and present. The Basketball game is with Angelo State University and starts at 7:00 p.m. If you are currently a TWU student-athlete planning on teaching, or if you were a TWU student-athlete are planning on or are currently teaching, please join us on the 24th for this special evening. April 2 there will be a Centennial Celebration reception at Region 11 Education Service Center, 3001 North Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76106-6596 to honor our partner school districts and mentor teachers in Region 11.
