Every month, the Union hosts themed Bingo in the Purple Lounge from 12-1p.  It's a great opportunity to win cool prizes! 

In addition, each month a different student organization hosts.  If your organization is interested in participating, please contact the Union at 940.898.3641 at the beginning of each semester.

Boo at the U

October 27, 2011

Every October, the Union sponsors a Fall Festival event that includes treats, train rides, carnival games, and a haunted house!
More than 3,000 children attend the festival each year, which includes “trunk-or-treating” — TWU’s version of trick-or-treating.

Admission is free and open to the community.

Mardi Gras

Stationary Parade - All Day

On the 2nd floor, student organizations build and showcase a parade of themed table floats. The parade is stationary so students, faculty, and staff are able to come and admire the floats all day. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place entries.

Senior Breakfast/Lunch honors all graduates by providing breakfast/lunch, TWU memorabilia, and keynote speakers to help commemorate this important milestone. This event is free for graduating seniors, but students may bring up to two guests at the cost of $15.00 per guest.

Dress for the event will be business attire.

To reserve your place at the Senior Breakfast or Lunch, please complete the reservation form, and submit payments to the Student Union as soon as possible. Your guests' seats are not guarenteed until payment is recieved.  Payments can be made in the form of cash, check or credit card in the Student Union Office, Room 209.  Checks made payable to TWU Student Union can also be mailed to:

Student Services Showcase

At the beginning of the Spring semester, various departments from Student Life setup tables in the Student Union lobby highlighting the services they have to offer students!  It is a great opportunity for departments to share and students to learn more about campus resources.

The event is from 11a-1:30p.  Door prizes, cookies, and other free items are given away.

Valentine's Fair

Held in early February from 10a-2p on the 2nd floor of the Union, students, faculty, & staff have the opportunity to buy gifts for their Valentines or other loved ones from various vendors!

Winter Wonderland

December 1, 2011 - 10a-3p - SU 2nd Floor
Buy handcrafted and decorative items, food, jewelry, candles, etc.

For Vendors:
Vendors are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis:

  • Only one vendor from each company is accepted.
  • Only a certain number of vendors who sell comparable items (e.g.candles, bath and body, etc.) will be accepted.
  • Vendors who apply first will have placement priority.
  • Reservations are complete upon receiving both an application and payment
  • Venders may not bring or use extra tables.
  • The rental fee is $50 for one table and $75 for two tables. 

To ensure a spot, please submit an application as soon as possible by email to studentunion@twu.edu.
(Applications may also be mailed to the address below.)

Application and payment are due by Friday, November 18, 2011.
