Welcome to the Student Union!

The Student Union is located at the heart of TWU. Inside the Student Union there are two cafeterias, the TWU bookstore, a US post office, a gameroom, computer labs, meeting rooms and a notary public. The Student Union also houses the Student Life Office , Center for Student Development and Commuter Services.

The official name of the Student Union is the Mary Eleanor Brackenridge Student Union named for the 1913 president of the Texas Woman Suffrage Association. The Student Union was built in 1967 on the former site of the Brackenridge residence hall and was renovated in 2000 adding an Art Gallery and a Cyber Lounge. Renovation started again in the Summer of 2004 to update the basement cafeteria known as the Underground, adding more seating and a new gameroom.
