Harry S. Truman Scholarship

Purpose: To find and recognize college juniors with exceptional leadership potential who are committed to careers in government, the nonprofit or advocacy sectors, education or elsewhere in the public service; and
To provide them with financial support for graduate study, leadership training, and fellowship with other students who are committed to making a difference through public service.
Scholars selected from 2005 on are required to work in public service for three of the seven years following completion of a Foundation funded graduate degree program as a condition
Eligibility:
- US citizen or US national
- Junior students with extensive records of public and community service, who are committed to careers in government or elsewhere in public service, and have outstanding leadership potential and communication skills
Number Nominated: 4/institution; May nominate 3/institution more if student attended community college for at least one year
Other Requirements:
- Must have faculty representative
- Requires on-campus Committee interview
- Requires regional/national interview

Javits Fellowship Program

Purpose: To support outstanding students who will undertake study at the doctoral and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) level in selected fields of the arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Rotary Foundation Amabassadorial Scholarship

Purpose: Academic-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships provide funding for one academic year of study in another country. This award is intended to help cover round-trip transportation, tuition, fees, room and board expenses, and some educational supplies up to $25,000 [US] or its equivalent
