Who's Who groupTWU's longest standing tradition of recognizing academic excellence and campus involvement is the Who's Who nomination.  Since 1934, TWU has put forth the names of its campus leaders and excellent scholars for selection by Who's Who.  On this site, we recognize the students who were recently selected for this prestigious award.

Undergraduate students are recognized in May on the Denton campus with a reception for faculty, family and friends and a certificate presentation for the honorees.  The 2011 event, planned and presented by STARS, the student alumni relations council in conjunction with the Office of Alumni Relations, brought back several of the older traditions associated with Who’s Who.

When the TWU yearbook, the Daedalian, was in print students chosen for Who’s Who were often photographed on campus.  That photograph along with a listing of their leadership activities and often a quote were included in the yearbook.  Keeping that tradition alive in today’s electronic format, the students were recognized in a slide presentation.

The TWU tradition of photographing honor groups on the stairway of Hubbard Hall was also revived.
