A special Welcome is extended to International Students who will be attending TWU in the Fall. We would like to gather together all those from other countries for a day of Orientation Wednesday, January 11th beginning at 9:00am in 7305 on the seventh floor.
Concerns that specifically relate to International Students will be discussed. Additionally, over lunch provided by Student Life, there will be a chance to get-to-know other International Students who have made Houston and TWU a “temporary home-away-from-home”. We promise to have you ready to leave around 4:00 p.m. that same afternoon. Please join us as we explore avenues that might help to smooth your transition into academic life at TWU. Following the International Student Orientation Wednesday, please plan to attend one of the General Orientations on Thursday, January 12th; Friday, January 13th or Saturday, January 14th as applicable. Following all the Orientation Sessions, there will be an optional tour of the Texas Medical Center offered for newcomers interested in learning more about this "city within a city". Student leaders from the international community will be conducting the tour.
