Thursday morning, August 26th we will begin at 8:00 a.m.  Please feel free to check-in anytime after 7:30 a.m. in the first floor lobby.  The day will be open to new MOT, DPT as well as PhD Nursing Students and cover such areas as parking and transportation within TMC, health-related resources, registering for classes and financial aid possibilities.  Groups will be created after the first three hours, and the Orientation will continue to unfold, addressing such hands-on necessities like:  obtaining an ID Badge, going on a campus tour, becoming acquainted with Internet-based medical resources, and an overview of the Houston Academy of Medicine - Texas Medical Center Library.  Laced throughout the day will be introductions to several services provided by the Counseling Center, Security (Department of Public Safety - DPS), Student Life; and opportunities possible through Campus Ministries, Student Government, and other registered student organizations.
