As a TWU Houston Center student, you are immediately enveloped in two communities:  that of TWU and the Texas Medical Center (TMC).  The TMC Community is rich with its offerings for students of health care disciplines.  Opportunities are abundant for students to network both formally and informally with other health professionals here in the Medical Center.  The TWU Houston site also receives tremendous support and benefits from the united strength of the Texas Medical Center community in areas such a hurricane preparedness, H1N1 response, and international communication, to name a few...

Student Affairs Advisory Council (SAAC)
    Meetings held first Monday of every month at 4:00 p.m.

    Composed of Students and Staff Members from TMC Educational Institutions
    Hosts one TMC-wide program per month

    On Site Presence for Immunization and Flu Clinics
    Accepts most health insurances
    For Academic Health Plan Carriers
        Deductible is waived
        Student pays 20% on most charges
