The Dallas Komen Race for the Cure® is a 1K or 5K run/walk event. The Race is part of a national series sponsored by the Susan G. Komen Foundation® to heighten awareness, provide education about breast cancer, and to celebrate breast cancer survivorship. The Race is the largest fund raising event for local breast cancer screening, education, and research. Participate in TWU Pioneers for the Cure team and become part of a university-wide tradition!
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? You, your family, friends, neighbors, colleagues are all invited to walk or run on the TWU Pioneers for the Cure team. Special team events, fun giveaways, and an opportunity for transportation to & from the event will also be provided on a first come first served basis from the Dallas campus. This event is stroller and wheel chair friendly (service animals are welcome, but no pets, please).
PAJAMA PIONEERS: Are you interested in supporting the cause but not that interested in getting up early on a Saturday morning? Then join the team as a "Pajama Pioneer." Simply register as if you plan to attend the event and then enjoy wearing your t-shirt with your robe in the comforts of your own home.
