Who are the Stingers?

The Stingers are the soul of the Campus Activities Board (CAB). Each Stinger is placed on a committee of their choice that meet to discuss and plan their events bi-weekly. They also have the opportunity to volunteer for the setting up, implementation, and breaking down of all CAB events.

What do the Stingers do?

The Stingers, CAB's Member Board, is an opportunity for students who are full of ideas and a passion for fun to be a critical piece of Campus Activities at Texas Woman's University. If you are looking to get out of your shell and meet new people then we need you to be a Stinger! Come help us plan events for TWU students, facilitate exciting roadtrips, and meet potential artists and acts to bring to your campus. We would love for you to become a part of The Hive!

How can I become a Stinger?

Applications to become a Stinger at are available at each CAB's Stinger meetings. Potential Stingers must first complete 3 hours of volunteer fun before their application will be accepted.  The first Stinger meeting of spring 2013 will take place on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 4:00 PM, Student Union 207.

What is expected from a Stinger?

Stingers are expected to attend all CAB meetings, participate in a committee and volunteer with CAB for a minimum of 3 hours.
