Employee Benefits: TWU Fitness and Recreation
The
TWU Fitness and Recreation is a health promotion program for TWU
employees, TWU students and the general public. The Fitness and
Recreation
offices and main Fitness Room are located in
Jones Hall. In addition, members may use the facilities in Pioneer
Hall as a member of the Fitness Center.
Membership in the Fitness and Recreation center includes access to Jones Hall Fitness
Room, Pioneer Hall walk/jog track, racquetball courts,
gymnasium, weight room, indoor swimming pool, participation in
group exercise classes, and use of the outdoor pool during summer
months.
Other
services at additional cost include sports leagues and
tournaments, specialty classes such as Boot Camp Fitness and
personal training.
TWU
Fitness and Recreation is available to the faculty and staff of the
Texas Woman's University. In addition, an employee's spouse and
dependent children, 16 years and older may join for a reduced fee.
