Staff Employment Policies & Practices: Standard of Conduct
Reasonable rules of conduct are maintained in order to define
and protect the rights, safety, and welfare of the Texas Woman's
University and its employees. Administrative officers have the
authority and responsibility to establish and maintain an effective,
and orderly work force of employees under their charge.
While TWU is an At-Will
employer, it is recommended that dismissal from employment be
preceded, where appropriate, by using the
Corrective Action Guidelines.
TWU reserves the right
to add or eliminate any part of the steps described in this process,
and doing so does not preclude the at-will employment status.
