Pioneer Proud Staff Award
Many TWU staff members provide services which are quite visible. Many other services are provided by staff members working behind the scenes. In an effort to recognize the efforts of all of the members of the TWU staff the Pioneer Proud award is presented each semester to individuals who go above and beyond their ordinary responsibilities to assist faculty, staff, students and Friends of TWU. This assistance can take many forms including but not limited to staying late to help a student, showing exceptional pride in the quality of their work, an individual's positive attitude, or any number of other ways that an individual would go beyond their normal duties to solve a problem or assist TWU faculty, staff or students.
Anyone can nominate a staff member at any time to receive this award. To nominate someone complete this online nomination form or print, fill out and mail the pdf version of the nomination form to Staff Council - Denton Campus. Include the nominee's name, department and description of how that person has provided outstanding service. The nominee's name will be added to the growing list of TWU staff who exemplify TWU pride and service to the TWU community.
This award is for those staff members in a full or regular part-time position with an "ongoing commitment to the university" and not covered by Faculty Senate or with a title of Director or above.
