Many TWU staff members provide services that are quite visible, but staff members working behind the scenes provide many other services. In an attempt to recognize the efforts of all members of the TWU staff, the Pioneer Proud award is presented each spring semester to individuals who go above and beyond their ordinary responsibilities to assist faculty, staff, students and friends of TWU. This assistance can take on many forms, including but not limited to staying late to help a student, showing exceptional pride in the quality of their work, an individual’s positive attitude, or any number of other ways.
Recipients will be invited to attend a special spring ceremony hosted by the TWU Staff Council to recognize their efforts.
Anyone can acknowledge a staff member at any time to receive this award for the upcoming spring semester. To acknowledge someone, simply complete the form below and submit in SharePoint. The recipient's name will be added to the growing list of TWU staff that exemplifies TWU pride and service to the TWU community.
This award is for those staff members in a full or regular part-time position with an “ongoing commitment to the university” and not covered by Faculty Senate or with a title of Director or above.
