Join us on this wonderful journey to The Netherlands! Saturday, May 12 – Saturday May 19, 2007 |
This country is well known for its windmills, tulips and clogs but you will also learn that the Dutch economy, with its strong international focus, is one of the European Union's most dynamic centers of trade and industry. Due to its favorable location by the North Sea, the Netherlands (also known as Holland) plays an important role as a main port and distribution center for companies operating worldwide and is often called the Gateway to Europe. You will be based in Amsterdam, the reputed “Venice of the North” with its many canals and bridges graced with beautiful 17th century architecture. We will include a city orientation tour together with a nice canal cruise. We will do day excursions out of Amsterdam, to see the beautiful Dutch towns and countryside which may include picturesque fishing villages, cheese making factories etc. and of course, with tulip blooming this time of the year, you will have the opportunity to witness what hundreds of thousands of visitors come for – to visit the bulb fields with their daffodils, hyacinths and tulips which should be in bloom this time of the year Download the Form -.pdf file ![]() .pdf files can be viewed using adobe acrobat-click here to download the latest reader if your computer does not already have it installed |
