REGISTRATION

REGISTRATION FOR CLASSES

Student Registration through WebAdvisor

1. Students are able to register through   WebAdvisor.

2. Student will be able to remove Payment Terms and Agreement and Public Health
    Disclaimer

Prerequisites: Students must have a portal username and password and access to the internet.

Purpose: Student will be able to register for classes through WebAdvisor.

CLASS SCHEDULE CHANGES

  1. During regular registration, students may make changes to your schedule making the appropriate change by logging back into the Pioneer Portal. You may add or drop classes until the first day of the semester.

 

    • NO CLASSES CAN BE ADDED AFTER THE LAST DAY OF LATE REGISTRATION. The Academic Calendar includes deadlines for making changes in your schedule after registration and dropping a course without academic penalty.

PAYMENT & LATE REGISTRATION

Any student not completing registration before the “First day of classes” (as published in the Academic Calendar) will be considered a late registrant. ALL LATE REGISTRATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY 5:00 PM, ON THE FOURTH DAY OF THE SEMESTER; (as published in the Academic Calendar).

 

NO REGISTRATION IS CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL PAYMENT FOR TUITION AND FEES IS MADE.

    • University awarded aid and existing payments will be calculated in the payment plan for the applicable semester.
    • The plan will be automatically updated as payments and/or billing adjustments are made to your student account.
    • Minimum payment and the $15 installment fee are due at the time of enrollment in the plan.
    • Acceptance of the Payment Plan Agreement is required with this online process.
    • The agreement is confirmed with your electronic signature using the last four digits of your TWU student ID number (not S.S.N.).
    • A $15 late payment fee will be assessed for payments received after the due date for each installment.
    • There is no grace period for installment payments.
    • The minimum payment requirement for courses added after the initial installment payment must be paid within 24 hours of the added course. Unpaid classes will be subject to deletion.

 

A STUDENT WHO FAILS TO MAKE FULL PAYMENT OF TUITION AND FEES, BY THE DUE DATE MAY BE PROHIBITED FROM REGISTERING FOR CLASSES UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS MADE. A STUDENT WHO FAILS TO MAKE PAYMENT PRIOR TO THE END OF THE SEMESTER MAY BE DENIED CREDIT FOR THE WORK DONE THAT SEMESTER.
Penalties for Payment Delinquencies

As provided by law, any student who fails to make payment of tuition and all fees by the due date will be prohibited from registering for classes until full payment is made. In addition, there is a charge of $15.00 for delinquent payments.

Students will not be able to receive transcripts until full payment is made. Any delinquent balances will be turned over for collection at which time an additional 331/3% will be added to the account balance for collection charges.

Bad Checks

A $30.00 service fee will be levied on all returned checks, if the bank is not at fault. Students giving TWU a bad check are subject to being dropped from the University unless they make the check good within five working days after official notification by the Bursar’s office.
