AWARD-WINNING TWU FLUTE CHOIR
The award-winning Texas Woman's University Flute Choir was founded
in 1994 by conductor Dr. Pamela Youngblood. The group performs a
varied repertoire of original compositions and transcriptions
ranging from Bach to jazz on all the instruments of the flute
family, including piccolos, alto flutes, and bass flutes. In
addition to formal concerts, the group performs throughout the year
for campus, civic, and community events. Membership is open to
advanced flutists by audition regardless of major. |
