A native of Atlanta, GA, Allyne began his training in dance at the age of 14 under the direction of Patricia Bromley and Gary Harrison. A graduate of the prestigous Delkalb Center for the Performing Arts, Allyne went on to further his studies at Florida A&M University and Florida State University, where he received various scholarships and awards for his many stage performances.
For seven years Allyne danced with the Internationaly known Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, where he served as a Company Instructor and Rehearsal Director for DCDC II. Allyne has done guest appearances with Philadanco, Ballet Wisconsin, Joel Hall Dancers, and Donald Byrd the Group, to name a few.
Broadway credits include Porgy & Bess, Sophisticated Ladies, The Wiz, Hello Dolly, and his latest appearance in Dreamgirls with the Milwaukee Theatre Festival.
In 1999 Allyne founded the Arts Unlimited Project and the Milwaukee Dance Connection, a multi-cultural contemporary modern dance organization based in the city of Milwaukee, WI.
Currently Allyne is the Resident Choreographer and Rehearsal Coach for the Dallas Black Dance Theatre.
