TWU is located Northwest of Dallas and Northeast of Fort Worth. Our proximity to the Dallas/Fort Worth Area provides our students and faculty with abundant cultural, social and educational opportunities. Denton, a smaller community of about 90,000 people, is home to TWU and the University of North Texas.
US Highway 380 is the major East-West thoroughfare in Denton. Known in the city as University Drive, it borders the northern edge of the TWU campus.
TWU's high-rise buildings are visible for miles, so keep an eye out for them as you approach Denton.
